West Suffolk Hospital Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory
This newly refurbished state of the art cardiac centre in Bury St Edmunds, completed in October 2018, brings together the cardiology ward, cardiac care unit and cardiac diagnostics unit. Previously each area was located in different parts of the hospital.
This project took two decommissioned wards on the lower ground floor of the hospital and stripped them back to their shell before a full refurbishment took place, including the construction of a courtyard infill courtyard and new plant room extension, close to the main trunk road of the hospital.
