Rachel has developed an extensive knowledge of many different Healthcare services, including General Clinics and Outpatient facilities, Theatres, Pathology, Maternity, Radiology, Ophthalmology, Pharmacy and Mental Health Facilities.
Rachel has developed a good working knowledge of the Healthcare Environment, designing to conform to current Building Regulations, HBN’s and working in close liaison with the end users. She is happy to develop designs with space planning options and challenge existing design standards where existing HBN requirements have been outdated. She understands the changing nature of medical care and how advances in science and technology can mean deviations from HBN standards for the advancement of Services, new medical techniques and equipment.
Rachel thrives on finding design solutions for the ever-changing NHS Services being provided. The use of Revit (3D modelling software) has helped Clients better visualise the design and ensure the end results meet requirements and expectations.
